Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

We had a good amount of reading and the lectures were very casual and you could ask questions whenever. It was great being able to ask questions whenever we were hiking. The tests were not too hard, either.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was organized really well, and the services provided by our trekking guides were invaluable for being able to study while trekking.

We were in tents for the vast majority of the program, and the views were spectacular!

* Food:

Traditional Indian food is delicious, and they are very good at working with the vegetarian students.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We were able to take part in a couple of festivals (Desera and Deepwali)and we were able to talk to people in remote mountain villages.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

We were informed of exactly what steps we needed to take before the program in terms of vaccinations.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
