Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It is tough to entirely answer this question considering I have no idea what my final grades will look like. Its possible that I should have worked much harder. It is also very possible that I could have worked less.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very helpful. Always available and constantly updating the program with important dates, deadlines and notices.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great. We were living on a student campus with 4000 other students. Easy to meet people and good atmosphere.

* Food:

Obviously depends how much you want to spend. If you do not mind cooking then you can always have a great cheap meal.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Not bad not great. I was only in Germany for a semester.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Never had any, however, it seemed very easy and accessible.

* Safety:

Totally safe. No one in the program had any problems that I was aware of.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Munich is expensive an you have to budget appropriately, however, the tuition to JYM was significantly lower than Middleburys tuition.
