I improved my Spanish knowledge and confidence with my Spanish-speaking abilities! I experienced unique history of Seville, Spain! This experience was definitely worthwhile!

Safe living arrangements, great food cooked by my housemother, and a friendly environment!

Delicious and tasty! A new experience of Spanish cultural food!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Comfortably integrated! I was comfortable with my Spanish-speaking abilities to communicate the basics with the locals. Refresh yourself with your Spanish!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

No issues with health/medical concerns!

* Safety:

Very safe city with friendly locals! Stay with a group that you are comfortable with when walking at night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes


* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It can be somewhat costly with souvenir and food expenses, but I did not experience any issues with my financial situation!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Spend your money as you see fit! Remember that you have limited space for souvenirs in your luggage when you return home on the airplane!

The staff and faculty were very excited with the encouragement of the study abroad students to speak the language as much as possible!

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Refresh yourself with basic greeting and salutation phrases! Review class notes of past courses taken to review variety of grammar structures! Practice pronunciation and vocabulary! Be confident in yourself!
