What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was inspired by a lot of the artwork. It was interesting to learn about another culture. Yes, it was a really great learning experience.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't eat out more than once or twice a week. Buy food and water at the grocery stores for most of your lunches. Go to the open market to buy souvenirs and negotiate the prices. Bring all the toiletries you will need for the whole trip because these things were expensive.

  • Since there was so much information to cover, the days felt rushed. If the program was a little longer it might help.
  • It would be awesome if there could be a program specifically for art majors.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have brought things to do in the evenings for example: my laptop, music, board games, books to read, things to draw, etc.
