Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Pili is great. She helped me out a lot, but also made me figure things out on my own and didnt always hold my hand through everything.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Dorm with food, security and cleaning ladies.

The location was pretty awful, but the dorm itself was great.

* Food:

There werent very many choices, but usually the food was edible.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Every day I leave my dorm room is a social and cultural activity.

* Safety:

There is not much violent crime in Spain, but a lot of pickpocketers and muggers.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? food was included in the rent of 445 euro a month
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? pace yourself and spend your money on traveling, clothes go out of style (and are cheaper in the us anyway) while your experiences and memories of traveling (sorry for the cliche) will NEVER go out of style
