Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I was never really sure of how I stood in the class grade wise. There wasn't a way of knowing that.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I felt very safe living in Weerona College. I really enjoyed how I was able to know everyone that I lived with by name and face. Not alot of places do that anymore.

* Food:

The food was very different from home. We have more fatty foods. Most of the foods I eat overseas were fresh foods and healthier choices.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Traveling around the country, I was able to see the difference in fashion. When in the city setting people were dressed more formal where as in the rural areas not so much. Also, there was a change in attitude and look as you moved farther down the coast.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

There wasn't alot of talk about health issues other than at orientation. When it came to safety, I felt very comfortable being in Wollongong. I wasn't afraid to be living there.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
