What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Study abroad was so much fun. I have to say that I learned plenty about something I never thought I would. The Czech republic has a huge amount of history, art and film to offer. I believe I am a better global citizen. You learn the differences about being educated in America and being educated in a different counrty. You realize that their are Marginalized people everywhere you go. So i think this helps to open the mind.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Someone who is pretty comfortable with taking pictures of strangers. Not afraid to go up to people who might not speak their language. Professor Darling Expects you to go out there and you definitely should! I felt like I held back sometimes but I still did some pretty cool stuff. You need to want to tell a story! I think thats the most important thing!
