About

Croatia, right next to Italy, is the perfect location for this course. Its beautiful coastline, unique rock formations, Roman ruins and quaint historical cities do not always make one think of oil and gas platforms, but they do exist there too. Basic English is widely spoken by most young people. Open to all students interested in this topic, from Engineering, Jackson School of Geology and other colleges, this course is taught in English by a great professor. It provides a unique opportunity to gain field exposure on the fundamental concepts in numerical methods and their relation to petroleum and geosystems engineering. Students will explore the distinctive geological karst formations in the national parks and also attend conferences and lectures in Dubrovnik and Zagreb.Gas exploration facilities in the north Adriatic will also be visited.
