What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I would like to travel more in the future and I appreciate America more as well. MY academic interests are still the same. I discovered that it doesn't matter where I live as long as I am near family.

We had culture events once a month. Each country had a chance to prepare a meal and entertainment that represented their country. Almost all of the internationals attended.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I felt like I did a pretty good job preparing for expenses, however I underestimated how much I spent on food.
