What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about how to be a functional adult- with budgeting, cooking my own meals, traveling, planning trips, and all that, which was a valuable experience.

good educational experience, large class sizes which were difficult to adjust to coming from a small school in the states

I lived in queen mary building and it was wonderful!

had to cook my own meals but it was all fine

did not have any health issues

felt very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I had a great time, I loved the city and the country as a whole. I did a lot of traveling which was very valuable, and I made tons of friends. Australia is a great place to be!

sydney is an expensive city to live in, especially with housing costs

  • the travel and places I was able to vist

* What could be improved?
  • I did not love all my classes, mainly due to the different structure from my home university
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had planned to come early or stay later so I could get more time in that part of the world
