Review Your Program

Loved the experience. Graham (program advisor in Sydney) was extremely helpful as was his entire staff.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very helpful staff. Very interested in helping us.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great host family. They really made the trip all the more enjoyable.

* Food:

Vegetarian... My host always accommodated me.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The Central Australia trip was AMAZING. Best experience of my life.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Everything was explained at my home university.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? About $200. Cabs, food, and other personal expenses really added up. My semester abroad was much more expensive then my usual semester at home.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Transportation expenses were unexpected but most of the public transportation to my house stopped pretty early. So when I would go out at night I would have to take a cab home... which I don't have to do in America so I wasn't used to those expenses.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Direct Enrollment/Exchange
