What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was an incredibly worthwhile experience. You really learn so much about yourself when you get to disconnect from what you are comfortable and used to.

Australia is very expensive compared to the states and the exchange rate was not in my favor during my time there.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • Being abroad and traveling through Australia and it's surrounding countries.
  • Everything was a new, exciting experience even simple things.
  • Learning Australian culture and colloquials.
* What could be improved?
  • Over paid on housing
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Nothing! I learned things the hard way while abroad but that made the experience that much more valuable.
