It was great to experience a new culture and be able to study with so many students from around the world. Scotland has amazing hiking and outdoors activities, too!

I had a health issue while studying at St. Andrews and found it difficult to meet with a doctor and there was no student health center on campus.

Comments: The class was challenging and relevant to real life, which I found compelling. The class size was much larger than any class at Middleburg, but there were small discussion groups and the teacher and TA were always available for help.

Comments: This class was particularly interesting to take while studying in Europe, and the professor was very knowledgable. The class work consisted mostly of reading for homework and papers.

Foundations of Western Philosophy

Comments: This class was interesting and I studied a lot of authors and philosophers I had no exposure to previously. Both the professors were very knowledgable in this field and were very helpful when I had problems or questions. The work consisted of writing papers and reading different texts.
