What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was the best experience of my life! My eyes were opened to new ways of thinking and I still strive to think like a Dane. I would do it all again.

I had the time of my life. It opened my eyes, and I have been forever changed.

Danes are amazing wholesome people. My host family became my real family.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived with a host family in an old Danish farm house! Then moved into the city of Svendborg where my classmates and I walked to school.

* Food:

All I can say is I miss that Kabob!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I and my friends hung out with the local kids on a daily basis and I've never felt more alive.

Denmark is the most peaceful place on earth!

Just make put yourself out there and make friends with the natives. You're not going to learn a new language by hanging out with your American classmates all the time!
