Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The two advisors assigned to our group were very, very nice and professional. Yanis and Emily welcomed us and looked after our every need. It was nice that they accompanied us to meals and different events and lectures, which helped us to feel comfortable.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Very cool place to stay, and very roomy, quiet and private.

* Food:

There was a good variety of food offered at all mealtimes, salads and fruits too. The place was clean and inviting. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the way leftovers, like fish, were used the next day; and it was obvious.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

An Oxford experience is "Amazing!" Magdalen college is very old, authentic and beautiful. The grounds and flowers were well maintained and the folks were friendly and helpful.

* Safety:

There was never a concern for personal safety, except perhaps crossing the street!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Any student who is looking for a first travel experience because of the general familiarity ie. language, customs, food, etc. Also, students who have a "big picture" themed vision for college, and can blend with others with an open mind and a sense of adventure!
