University of Northern Iowa: Traveling - UNI Capstone in England and Scotland

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I had always wanted to visit England and the trip was just as amazing as I expected it would be! On the trip you weren't just stuck in London and Edinburgh (though you did get to see them)but, you got to tour all around Great Britain with York, Liverpool, Brighton, Glasgow, Stirling, and the Highlands! I got a good sense of how the locals acted and how they differed from city to city just like people in the United States do from coast to coast. I experienced the nature, the sites, the food, and just the overall culture. It was a bit expensive for me which is why i was very happy it was only 2 weeks or else id need more money. I still want to travel in the future, preferably Europe. But i feel as if next time, i will be more prepared with knowing what to expect and what to bring.
