What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The experience was wonderful. I gained an appreciation for the complexity and difficulty of the work undertaken to construct the marvelous things we saw, and enjoyed the cultural aspects of our stay in Italy.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? This capstone explores the concept of sacred space by visiting a number of churches, cathedrals, chapels, a festival, and a couple of lakes. It covers history, art, religion, and brings in a philosophical aspect through the assignment: to create a working definition of sacred space. If you aren't willing to consider that aspect of the program, you might not be suited to it.
