What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that there are so many other things to see outside of Iowa. I feel that the European country is more relaxed then here in america.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Throughout the two weeks I was there I probably spent $300 on food. I only ate out since I did not have a living arrangement to cook my own meals.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? When you know you are going, do not spend as much on entertainment things. This will help spare some money. If you are someone that goes home often, trying staying so you can save that money instead of using it on gas.

A Look Back

  • Do not put the London eye on our U-bills, allow students to choose if they want to do it or not.
  • I wish we could of planned to have a night in London, and see it lit up.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? When the program assistant say do not pack shorts, you should pack a summer outfit just in case.

Comments: I think the most challenging thing was getting around and knowing where you were. yes I really enjoyed the professor, and which I could have him as a professor again, however he is not in my major. We had papers, and 2 powerpoint presentations.
