What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Most definitely. It has greatly improved my spanish speaking skills and I am so glad that I choose to come to Chile. It was a great two months. I plan on majoring in Spanish along with Accounting and hopefully I can find a job that involves both.

I learned so much from the classes and benefitted from every one.

They were very helpful but there was sometimes a lack of communication.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My family was so nice and very very helpful!

* Food:

Delicious food every single day!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Our excursions were a lot of fun and there was a lot to do in the city, which was very nice.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

No health issues on my part but it wasn't safe to walk by yourself most of the time, especially at night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

My family, friends and teachers. The group spoke english most of the time but I got great immersion with my family!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I would tell them to speak spanish as much as they can because by the end, you'll be so much better by doing so!
