What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained many new friendships from my experience abroad. I also learned a lot about the history and culture of Cyprus, a country a new very little about before the trip. I though it was definitely worthwhile and would highly recommend this trip to others.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Split some grocery items with your roommates- you alone are probably not going to use a whole jar of peanut butter in a month so you could share with roommates and they could buy other items to share

Most people in Cyprus spoke English so there wasn't a big need to try and learn Greek phrases

  • The planned trips around the country each weekend. It allowed us to experience different parts of the country.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How inexpensive traveling is in Europe and to not book my flight home right away so that I could have spent time traveling all over after this program was done.
