I felt extremely integrated with the local culture in the UK. I found my husband there! :)

Nothing beats the NHS. It really opened my eyes to how much better the NHS system is compared to the health care system in the USA

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Students can utilize internet money-saving resources such as Groupon. This website helped me go on trips to places like Brugge and Stonehenge for less than $60!!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known that there were other housing options that were easier to find than what was described to me beforehand. I learned on my own that off-campus housing was much easier to obtain and much cheaper than on-campus housing.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
