What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I would like to go to Ghana again, I enjoyed being there. I learned about their culture and was able to understand their historical and current struggles as a country.

The faculty were helpful and tried to accommodate us as best as they could.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

In this hostel I felt safe and was given three meals a day. Though it was far from the night life, it was comfortable and had a friendly environment.

The food provided was local dishes served buffet style. I found it was delicious and enhance my knowledge of the locale cuisine.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I did not spend very much on food during my trip because because I was provided with three meals every day. I did spend money on souvenirs and going out at night.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I did not have a problem with money while I was in Ghana. Make sure to be conscious on what you spend on, I mostly spent my money while I went out at night.
