Individual Course Reviews

Course Name/Rating:

Philosophy of Mind, Matter, and Language

Course Department: Philosophy
Instructor: Anders Schoubye
Instruction Language: English
Comments: The content of the class was standard and for that I was glad. However, my TAs were ill prepared for the discussions, the students rarely talked in said discussions or read the texts, and the professor rotated every week or so, so it was hard to get into a groove. All in all, though, I learned what I needed to, so that is good. I wouldn't recommend this class for non phil majors -- it's not too hard, it just isn't super great either.
