It definitely is nerve racking to go to a school where the grading system and teaching strategies are different but as long as you do your work and try hard it is manageable. |

It was a difficult process to sign up for the classes since you cannot do it online or yourself. There are about 3 people you have to email just to get into the classes you want. It was a process that could be avoided or fixed and more organized. |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I had to pay for the sheets they provided, we had to purchase our own dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc. There were no hangers in the closet or cleaning supplies. |

They are really good in Edinburgh about having different foods and dietary restriction foods. If you want to eat out there are a lot of great places but being on a budget ASDA and Tesco are good to go to to get main foods. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I took a cultures class while here which took us on 3 field trips which was worth it. I got involved with a church here which had events of its own which were fun. Get involved with the locals who know where to go, what to see and who you can go to their house for a great movie night and a time of relaxation. |

No city is perfect but considering Edinburgh is well taken care of. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | There are some great things about Scotland: you don't have to learn a new language, public transportation, beautiful scenery, castles on every corner and everything can be fried! But not everyday is easy and not everyday is going to be filled with fun. You are going to miss how your home university does things, you will miss being warm and dry since it rains all the time and you will miss driving on the right side of the road. But you will have a life changing experience and though it may be hard you won't regret it. |
