What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. If not for the confidence in travel and joy in history and tourism (and the novelty of having an accent that everyone adored), my friendships made my time incredibly more worthwhile and enriching than I ever expected and will have a longer impact on me than I could ever have anticipated.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Just give your brain time to adjust to thinking in pounds rather than dollars. Some things are cheaper and some things are more expensive, but it basically evens out. Just be patient and remember it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. |
