About
Our Programs combine Spanish Language courses at all levels (elementary to high-advanced, 2-3 hours per day) with courses taught in Spanish and English that are specifically designed for international students in areas such as Hispanic and Basque culture, literature, grammar, business, marketing, economics, international studies or European studies. In Semester Programs, students can also take courses with Spanish students at different Schools of the University of Deusto.
The main goal of our programs is to offer international students a wide selection of interesting courses, and to favor an enriching cultural immersion experience. All CIDE Programs include guided cultural visits to places of interest, medical insurance, housing service, and academic and personal orientation (before and during the student's stay at the University of Deusto).
The University of Deusto has been a pioneer in the academic scenario in Spain, always trying to give an answer to the professional and human demands of its students. A good example of that is the fact that it was the first Spanish university to offer business studies. The Business School, founded in 1916, is still one of the most prestigious business centers in Spain.
