What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. Not only did i learn about how to work in a lab but I also learned so much about different cultures.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The labs were amazing all the instructors were extremely helpful and fun to work with. This was the first time I actually got to work in a lab and I'm so lucky that it was in Bristol.

On-site administration of your program

Dr Kathryn is amazing, she was always there if we needed anything and used to always check in on us. Couldn't have asked for a better admin.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

. The Place is beautiful. They actually have wedding there that's how picturesque it is. The rooms I stayed in was very spacious and I had a bathroom across the hall. Had a large kitchen with all the utensil all ready there.

* Food:

It was really good. There would be a different menu everyday. They also had a vegan menu.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt extremely integrated and this is one of the major reasons is this program was so much fun. We did so many activities that you never felt bored for example we went to Bath on a day trip which was extremely fun. The program is such that it makes you feel at home.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I never had problems with health but I'm guessing they would be great with it as they are with the everything

* Safety:

As Bristol is a very diverse city there is no chance that one would feel unsafe there

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

  • We could have spend a day in a lab with someone who's actually doing research like a PhD stdudent
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That the program was not just about studying all day. Because I don't think I took full advantage of the free time we had and If i were to do it again I would have explored more.
