What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot of independence and confidence by being on my own. Definitely worthwhile.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in Goldney hall. Great location and the premises are beautiful! The only thing I'd say is that most of the study abroad students didn't live there, so socially it would have been more ideal to live in Riverside.

* Food:

Made my own food

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Bristol isn't a very touristy city so it really felt like I could make myself at home.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Very helpful health center.

* Safety:

Bristol is very safe, especially where I lived near Goldney hall.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

A wonderful university in a wonderful city!

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent around $50, maybe less, on groceries each week.
