Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was decent, but I was taking 300 level classes--I started out in a few 100 levels which were very work light and easily skippable. It was difficult in some cases to do the work because reading assignments (in some classes) were not clear nor clearly assigned. These large 100 level classes also had multiple teachers and tutorials so it was hard to get consistency--the teachers did not communicate with one another very well. On the other hand I had incredible professors in my 300 level classes and learned a ton. There were fewer class hours and about equivalent work

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

NA

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I arranged housing through the university. This is positive because you live with lots of other students and get to know them instead of being isolated, but negative because most of these students are freshman.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 80 dollars (not including trips)
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? dont forget you'll have to buy a lot when you get there.
