What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Was worth it for the traveling. No school will be better than Wellesley's but most will be less work.

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Varies greatly between classes. I would suggest the 200 level ones very easy very little work. Some computer science classes are harder / more work. DO NOT TAKE NETWORKS 300 class. So many things wrong with the class (professor, no work back, no variation for affiliate students, no help, etc.). All the affiliate students did not enjoy or do well in this class.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Not very secure. Had my wallet stolen from inside my room when I was in the kitchen. But was a large room and nice facilities.

* Food:

Didn't have a meal plan. Good around the area is good.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Good student union events.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Pick pockets everywhere and more than 5 times I had to kick out people who got into my dorm and were opening doors trying to find one unlocked to rob.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Yes but without the networks class.

London is very expensive.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook your own food. Shop at Tesco.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
