Just that I'm capable of travelling internationally alone.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Much better program for Archaeology than I could get at my home University, but the professors weren't always good about letting the students know what was expected of them. This seems to be a school-wide issue.

  • A fair amount of freedom with course selection.

  • The housing situation is subpar but I don't think they're capable of improving it.

Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
