About

The 6-week program "Social Realities in Larin America" (January 5th - February 17th, 2024) is an academic program meant to sharpen the students' awareness of the main development concerns and social challenges in the region.  At the same time, the participants acquire factual, technical and theoretical knowledge to undertake those challenges, and strengthen their foundation skills through first-hand experience.  An intensive Spanish course, activities with NGOs and weekend trips to complement the program.  The last week will be dedicated to a study tour to Cuetzalan (Puebla) where the group will visit some cultural, touristic and natural must-sees, get in contact with the local indigenous population, and visit NGOs that deal with the topics that were discussed throughout the program.  The program have the high quality standards of Iberoamericana University, one of Latin America's highest ranked universities.
