They were always accessible. For example when I had trouble with a bank in Greece, our director was willing to help by phone. All the administrative staff knew about cultural activities and our director knew about how to relate French and American academics. |

I lived in the 16th district of Paris in apartment near the Exelmans or Michel-Ange Molitor Metro stops. <br /><br /> Was great!! |

GREAT! I miss the food so much! My host family made sure to make things that were filling, but also knew that I didn't eat shell fish. Thus they accommodated my dietary restrictions. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Paris is a great place to study abroad. They have great deals at all the museums and throughout the city for people under 26, so there is always something to do. Great food, especially in the Saint-Michel area, they have great menu deals, where you can get three courses for good prices. |

No

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Probably no more than 80-100 euros. We received a monthly stipend of about 357 euros, and that was more than enough to take me through the month. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Just save money for traveling. Its also always good to have backup money is case of an emergency. For example, my friend's wallet was stolen in Greece, so she had to borrow money from us. If we didn't have backup money, we wouldn't have been able to help her. |
Language
| Language acquisition improvement? |
My language skills increased ten-fold. My comprehension was better, pronunciation improved, and overall my speaking improved as well. |
