yes, i am glad i did it. It was good to see what similiarities/differences exist among people a world away

it was not too challenging but i still learned quite a bit in some of my classes.

Dr. Bilson is great and his family is amazing. He often went out of his way for us.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

International Students hostel-Ghanaian roommate <br /><br /> I liked the set up and I had a wonderful roommate

the food was good and it was fun to try new things

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

there was always something to do on or off campus

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

i felt safe and Dr. Bilson took very good care of us

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about 100 cedis a week on average toward the end, more at the beginning but it depends on social activities (club admissions, movies, mall trips, etc.)
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? it goes faster than you think so be frugal when you can

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
Language acquisition improvement?

i was able to use some Twi while there,although I have forgotten a lot of it now
