A Year at TCD Past Review

By (Wellesley College) - abroad from 08/24/2015 to 05/13/2016 with

Trinity College - Dublin: Dublin - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
While my experience was not very academically challenging, I developed agency and independence over the course of my year abroad. Trinity housed me in an on-campus apartment with six Irish students, who helped me to integrate into the campus social life. By the end of the year, I felt not only more comfortable with my peers than I ever have at Wellesley, but also more outgoing and confident than I ever have in my life.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
