* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt that there was a lot of interaction at Dagbe, but mostly with male instructors. I know customs are different but it would be interesting if we found more women to connect with while there.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I had so much fun and was able to learn so many things. I met amazing people. There were so many opportunities to learn from locals and try new things.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Less that 30 dollar US
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Most meals were pretty big so splitting meals with a friend was a great way to save money and try multiple dishes.
