I learn't about Iceland, its energy targets and the way the country is run. I also learn't a lot about America from the students who came by, as I am from Australia!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

An incredible experience where I discovered the world of renewable energy in Iceland, created a project on algal biofuels and developed as a person!

Icelandic food was lovely, and we constantly were fed until we could eat no more.

On this trip I learn't a lot about the culture, language and people.

Always felt safe due to the tour bus and guides.

Learning about renewable energy and sustainability, developing a capstone project to present to 35 peers, creating friendships to last a lifetime and hike glaciers in our spare time... What more could you want?

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
