The GREEN Program: Iceland - Sustainability and Renewable Energy Abroad
This program was worth every penny and every second. Not only did I learn in-depth information about sustainable energy in the classroom, but I was able to receive the once in a lifetime opportunity to tour multiple varieties of power plants across Iceland. And to go further past just the education, what I gained from experiencing the Icelandic culture, lifestyles, and the adventures this program took us on is priceless and I could never quantify how much I gained.

The housing arrangements were above and beyond! The places we stayed gave us a great feel for the culture and gave us the freedom to explore more of Iceland on our own. it also created a great atmosphere for us students to foster strong friendships with one another. |

Unbelievable food! We were able to experience a vast amount of (delicious) typical daily Icelandic cuisine. Also, the program leaders were very thorough in making sure food allergies/intolerance were taken into consideration and accounted for. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | The amount of people that stayed in Hostels in Reykjavik after the program's duration. If I realized this prior to going, I without a doubt would have stayed in Iceland for longer. |
