The professors at Reykjavik were extremely informative and the classes were very beneficial.

Food was delicious and they guides always made sure you were fed.

All the Icelandic people were unbelievably kind and spoke excellent English.

* Safety:

Always felt safe with our tour guides, but they did a good job of not coddling us which made the trip an adventure.

I don't think I spent more than 100$ while I was in Iceland.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Practically none. Everything was provided as part of our program expenses.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? No. You'll only spend money on things you want such as gifts and drinks, not on food or anything you will need.

  • A lot of time was spent driving from place to place.
  • Trip advertising via the website was poor. I had no idea what I was getting myself into before I went.
  • Find a way to make this trip cheaper.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Nothing. Part of the fun was not having an itinerary which made each day an adventure.
