Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

We were away from our home country and studying abroad for a short course programme is very challenging.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Very comfortable

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Not so much time to spend with our fellow batchmates due to time to manage in internship and study.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had dental problem and needed to pay on my own money. There was no insurance provided.

* Safety:

Dubai is very safe country, even when I go out night from the hotel I had my internship.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

We have AED 1000 as allowance monthly (approx. USD 272) which is just enough for living expenses for food & transportation. No savings as the living expenses was too high.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Approx AED 150 to 200 per week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Cook your own food as it is cheaper and healthier. Go out when it is needed, but learn to explore the city sometimes.
