What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Very worthwhile. As much as we talk about different cultures and different beliefs, everyone has a sense of humor. Never be afraid to talk to people.

All the free days would have been difficult to do anything on a "student's budget."

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Budget an amount of money per day you can afford, then if you save a bit of that amount you can splurge on gifts and souvenirs towards the end.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • immersion into normal local life
  • our tour guides! Christina and Avgi
  • day trip to Nafplion was awesome
* What could be improved?
  • a little too much free time, need more scheduled stuff
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? make friends with the people you are going on the trip with before you leave. Then you don't have to have an awkward first couple days of getting to know each other.
