Yes, I learned a lot, and it's very different actually experiencing it instead of just hearing about it. I have always wanted to work overseas and this only further encouraged this thought. Elizabeth M - Texas Christian University View Entire Review

About
Spain’s rich cultural heritage and language will come alive as you experience life as a global citizen on the Iberian Peninsula. After visiting major sites in Madrid and Toledo, you will travel to Salamanca where you will spend the next three weeks living with a Spanish host family while studying the Spanish language, history, and culture. You will also learn how to cook one of Spain's most typical dishes and observe how the Spanish flamenco guitar is made.
Not only will you visit the main attractions in Salamanca, but you will also visit other important cities in Spain to experience the rich and varied traditions of this beautiful land firsthand. Your classes take place in the heart of the city just minutes away from the beautiful Plaza Mayor where you may experience the thrill of watching world class soccer matches or listening to a concert while sitting at one of the many outdoor cafés. You will gain more confidence in your Spanish-speaking abilities and gain an understanding of the Spanish culture.
Weekend class excursions include visits to Segovia, Ávila, León, Astorga, Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, and Santiago de Compostela.
Studying on this program in Salamanca results in three hours of upper-level credit. ¡Olé!
