What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile! I got to practice my Hebrew, be immersed in Israeli culture, and see places in Israel I hadn't been before.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 1 month - 6 months

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Very difficult, but definitely was taught a lot

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Could have used more organization and information before starting, but everything worked out really well once I was on the ground

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Apartments were fine. Nothing better or worse than college dorms

* Food:

We had to cook for ourselves so food was whatever you wanted

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

School was very well integrated

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I really enjoyed my time abroad, but I would be hesitant knowing now how difficult the academics are. I definitely learned a lot, and I liked being integrated into the community there, but I'd probably take different classes, or be better prepared to take what I did.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No

Direct Enrollment/Exchange

* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? Direct Enrollment
