About
Technion - Israel Institute of Technology is Israel's premier center of science-technology education and applied research. Ranked among the top science and technology universities in the world, Technion is home to more than 13,000 students, 19 faculties, 40 research institutes and a distinguished faculty of 550 including three Nobel Prize winners. Technion’s semester programs in English are open to undergraduate and graduate students from all over the world. Spring Semester: English language courses are offered in Engineering, Science, Business and Entrepreneurship. A select number of Humanities courses are also available. Additionally, students may enroll in an optional ulpan, an intense Hebrew language immersion course. Program Details: Full-time students typically take around 16 credits per semester. One academic lecture hour (50 minutes) equals 1 credit point. Courses are given at the third and fourth year undergraduate level. Some involve off-site activities and visits to Israeli industry. Trips, Activities and Student Life Students live in dorms on Technion’s beautiful and dynamic Haifa campus. Technion provides a wide range of sports facilities, social programs, lectures and trips to enrich students’ study abroad experience. All students attend a special Orientation Period to help them get acquainted with their peers, Technion and student life and living essentials in Israel. Admissions Students with a GPA of 80/3.0 and above are invited to apply. Please see our website for more information. Tuition and Fees Registration fee: $50 Ulpan Hebrew course (optional): $1,200 Semester tuition: $6,000 Housing: $310 per month Medical insurance & Other fees: $450 per semester
