Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Grading system was fair. Teaching was wonderful - the Italian professor for the intro class was outstanding.

Treated like a family member by my host family - excellent treatment.

Special field trips with Italian classes were wonderful - arranged by Loredana Tarini, my Italian professor.

Be careful at night - only overall safety issue.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Just know that Florence is a particularly challenging city if you do not want to drink or go out every night. There's not a lot of alternative options in terms of nightlife.
