About
Revel in Beijing's deep, dramatic history and marvel at its modern face and its explosive growth! Beijing is the fascinating political and administrative center of China and is the ideal place from which to study both the nation's past and the enormous changes and pressures that have transformed it into the fastest-growing economy on the globe. The SU Beijing program is located at China's prestigious Tsinghua University, and offers students at all language levels an opportunity to study the complexity of contemporary China. We offer coursework options across disciplines - including history and geography, political science and international relations, public communications and new media. Designed for both graduate and undergraduate students, the academic program features field study with on-site lectures in Beijing and other cities, courses taught in English that enroll both SU program students and Tsinghua students proficient in English, plus language study at all levels. Students with oral and written fluency in Mandarin may request enrollment in regular Tsinghua classes.
