What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a ton about my major, gained friends, and gained experience traveling in another country. Absolutely worthwhile.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It's a lot easier to study for a class when it's the only class you're taking at a time AND everyone around you is also taking that exact same class.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing is amazing: you're with your new friends, you can see the stars and the sunrise and sunset every day.

* Food:

Their fruit was the BEST, it was always fresh and so so sweet. I would go back to TBI just to eat mangoes.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I love this program. All the ways that it differs from a traditionally structured study abroad made it even better.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? The only things I spent money on that wasn't the program cost was souvenirs

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No
