Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The grading system seemed difficult compared to the how the class was taught. I felt that most of my teachers taught easy classes, but then the final tests were very difficult.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The good thing about this program was it wasn't overwhelming, but it also didn't give you as much of a chance to learn Spanish as I would have liked. Even though i requested living in a home-stay, I was placed with two other americans, which made it very easy to speak english. Also, since all the classes were with non-spainairds, it was hard to find people to talk to that could really help you to improve on your spanish speaking skills

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Book hostels early, and fly ryanair.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

A lot of the students spoke English. It was hard that we only took classes with other foreigners so the common language was English. I actually learned the most about Spanish from an exchange that was not part of the program.
