What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to be independent and make friends and live on a tight budget, and it was completely worthwhile. I also gained so much knowledge on the subject matter

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was not too academically challenging until we got home and had to write a paper, however the subject matter was very intense emotionally and physically

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

All apartments were amazing, but the location in Berlin wasn't the best

* Food:

We were able to get our own food and all of the banquets were great!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Very good, we did a lot in each city we were in and were able to integrate into the culture

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

No health issues arose

I always felt safe

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was a little hard to stay on a tight budget but it was very possible, i think I spent around 150-200 a week including souvenirs

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Set a budget for yourself, buy breakfast at the grocery store instead of out at restaurants

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It isn't warm in Europe in June for the most part! Bring more pants.
