What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a better appreciation for what we have in the US and how Ghanaians live. They really value people-to-people relationships that we don't really think about here. This experience abroad was definitely worthwhile.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I brought more skirts... It's a lot easier to 'use the toilet' with a skirt than pants.
